Brief lectures and individual help. In a computer lab, Web-based Internet exercises will be demonstrated using a projector. The WebCT Learning Management System (LMS) will provide a platform for home pages and password-protected communication.

- Orientation to the course and grading. Web searching. Communicating between mobile phones and computers. Free Websites for practicing English.

- Web searching and computer communication with the professor.

- Introduction to the WebCT LMS. Start student homepages with photos from mobile phones. Free Websites for practicing English.

- Develop homepages in WebCT with a self-introduction and links, such as to students’ blogs and enjoyable English sites.

- Social Networking Sites. Post to blogs. See other students’ WebCT home pages and blogs.

- Class discussion using the WebCT discussion board.
|

| 6 |
- Class discussion using a WebCT chat room. An outside guest may be invited so students can experience distance education.

- Google Maps. Listen to podcasts by computer.

- Make an online slide show narrated with your voice.
|

| 9 |
- Use a group voice message board. Start making a mobile phone homepage.
|

- Watch Internet videos, such as on human rights, and learn digital video camera techniques.

- Complete student homepages and other online projects. Pprepare presentations.
