授業の目的、または到達目標 様々なトピックに関する論理的な英語文献を、日本語に訳すことなく多量に読むことができる。
様々なトピックに関する論理的な英語文献を、効率よく、正確かつ批判的に読みこなすことができる。
獲得した読解力をTheme Studiesなどの今後の学習に役立てることができる。
授業の概要 論理的に書かれたエッセイの基本構成を理解し、資料を正確かつ批判的に読む力をつける。Topic Writng,Topic Discussionと共通のトピック（Unit 3 現代と人権、Unit 4 生命の危機）に関する様々な文献を読み、トピックに関連する知識を深め、英語で話したり書いたりするための情報を得る。
授業の形態 予習を前提にして、資料を読み、理解を確認し、トピックについてデイスカッションを行う。
