| 授業の概要 |
The content of each Supervised Reading & Research I class varies with the instructor and term. Students select the course they are most interested in. Each course requires students to do readings concerning the topic of the class as preparation for discussion and class presentations. Using the APA writing style， one or more research papers related to the class topic are required. Classes are conducted in English. Students take two Supervised Reading & Research I courses. The courses follow. |

Determined by individual teachers according to the needs of their class. If a student does not turn in the assigned paper she cannot pass the course. |

Evaluation will be based on class work and participation， research paper (one paper for a total of 5 pages using APA style)， and a final quiz， project， or report. Class work 40% Paper 40% (outline 5%， first draft 10%， final draft 25%) Final quiz， project， or report 20% |
