授業の目的、または到達目標 To become aware of issues related to immigration, various problems and experiences shared by many immigrants, and the general history of certain immigrant groups in Japan and the USA.
Learning Goals:

* can explain the particular history and experiences of certain immigrant groups
授業の概要 This course will examine issues, laws and policies related to citizenship and immigration in the USA and Japan, explore experiences shared by many immigrants such as discrimination, culture shock, acculturation, and cultural gaps between immigrant parents and their children, and study the historical experiences of certain immigrant groups.
