Learning goals: can examine the lives of women writers from English and American literature can read and analyze the works of women writers from English and American literature can examine the issues related to women |
| 授業の概要 |
In this course students will study several women writers from English and American literature, including Jane Austin, Charlotte ＆ Emily Bronte, Beatrix Potter, Katherine Mansfield, Louisa May Alcott, Pearl S. Buck, and Alice Walker. The lives of the writers will be studied first, and their works will be read and analyzed. Students will also write one research paper and will give an oral presentation on their research. |
