授業の目的、または到達目標 1.To understand UN framework and standards for promoting human rights through education and training.
2.To Critically review human rights (education) policies and practices in Japan and in some countries in Asia-Pacific.
1.国連における人権教育(教育・研修)をめぐる取り組み、基準を知る。
2.日本をはじめ、アジア太平洋地域における国々の人権教育政策、およびその実施について批判的に検証する。
授業の概要 Through reviewing of relevant UN documents, students will have an understanding of the development of human rights education in post-cold war and global era. Development as well as inhibiting factors for human rights education will be examined through examining regional and local policies and practices in Asia-Pacific, the role of government, civil society, and national human rights institutions.
ポスト冷戦期、またグローバル化の急速な進展の中で、国連の人権教育関連の取り組みがどのように進んだのか、関連文書を読み、知る。アジア太平洋地域、また国々の人権教育に関わる政策と実践を通して、人権教育の発展と、国、市民社会、国内人権機関等の役割、発展と阻害要因を検討する。
