授業の目的、または到達目標	can understand the definition, history, raison d'etre of NPOs/NGOs. can get basic knowledges of managing the non-governmental organization. can establish your own NGO (either virtual or real).
授業の概要	NPO/NGOs are working in a wide range of areas today including the environment, education, social issues, charity, health care and so on. It becomes more and more important to manage NGOs professionally in terms of personel issues, organizational issues and finalcial issues.


授業の形態	A lot of Group works together with lectures and field studies.

準備学習	Read through handout papers. To browse the websites related to various NPOs/NGOs.

成績評価方法・基準	Active participation in work group sessions(25%), Final presentation(40%), Term-end paper(25%) and attendance rate(10%).
