授業の目的、または到達目標 Advanced Writing will build on the writing done in IS 1-4 during the 1st year with the goal that students will be able to express themselves clearly and appropriately when writing academic essays and reports.
授業の概要 Students will be able to (SWBAT) use various prewriting brainstorming techniques to help develop detailed outlines on various topics.

SWBAT find and cite sources (in the text and on a reference page) using APA style.

SWBAT quote, summarize, and paraphrase sources.
