授業の目的、または到達目標 Acquisition of research methodologies is indispensable for finding meaningful solutions to human rights violations as well as for further promotion of human rights policy formulation. The course aims to familiarize students with quantitative and qualitative methodologies for social scientific research in human rights studies.
「調査」は、人権問題の解決の方法を探るためにも、また、人権政策の立案にも不可欠である。そこで本科目では、社会科学的視座から人権を研究するための量的・質的な調査方法について学ぶ。
授業の概要 Students will have an understanding of the place of both quantitative and qualitative data in human rights research, and practical skills for conducting research projects.
人権研究における統計データの果たす役割、仮説の立て方、質問紙の作成方法、参加型調査法の基礎をとりあげる。
