授業の目的、または到達目標 Organization Development (OD) and Human Resouce Management (HRM)are vital elements for any company or organization in order to carry out its strategic business plan or organizational goals. The topics we will discuss provide students with the concepts and pragmatic techniques you need to understand and carry out for both the development of people and organization growth. By learning this class you will understand how each company is operating Recruitment, Performance Evaluation, People Training and Development, Compensation and Managers important roles. English skill is also improved.
授業の概要 People or Talents is one of the basic management resouces to carry out any business plan or organizational objectives. In order to achieve a healthy and competitive organizational effectiveness all line managers have to demonstrate at least 5 basic functions in the organization: Planning, Staffing, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. We will learn and discuss various HRM elements in details, which will surely help stuldents future when they will join in an organization.

準備学習 All students should first come to every class with preparation of reading assignments and formulating own opinions. Enthusiastic class participation is essential.
教科書 Using extracts from Human resouce Management: 12th edition written by Gary Dessler published by Prentice Hall. Additonal handouts. No need to buy the Book.
参考文献 Recommended books are filed at the OJC Library Tsuboi Corner.
成績評価方法・基準 Class work (attendance, participation in discussion and QA), 3 written tests including "In Class Final Exam". English skill set is required for all students.
