授業の目的、または到達目標 The course helps students acquire a basic knowledge of English usage and become more sensitive to the complexity of English usage in writing.
*Learning Goals:
・Can use basic vocabulary and collocations appropriately.
・Can develop the habit of focusing on the core meaning of English words instead of
　 relying on Japanese translation for understanding.
・Can identify basic grammatical mistakes and correct them by oneself.
・Can produce grammatically correct phrases/sentences in writing.
授業の概要 Instructors will explain English usage and grammatical points through the following exercises provided in the textbook:
・Learn word usage in context
・Check correct usage
・Identify common errors
・One-sentence compositions
