授業の目的、または到達目標 Objective: The class is designed to provide students the frame of reference which analyze the emerging social order both domestic and international from gender perspectives.Goal of achievement: It is aimed to enhance student’s ability to think and discuss gender relating issues in English 目的；ジェンダーの視座から、社会の仕組み、政治そして国際社会を読み解く力をつけること到達目標；ジェンダー関連の争点を英語で考え、発表する能力をつける。
授業の概要 1. Definition of the term, gender. How to apply gender concept to the analytical framework of socialorder.
2. Historical background which hatched the concept of gender and the process of its globa lstandardization.
3. How has the political situation been transformed in America, EU nations and Japan with the introduction of gender sensitive perspective.
4. How has the concept of gender altered family pattern, labor situations and the concept of caring. 5. Evolution of gender symbiotic world. １．ジェンダーを理解し、どの様に社会を読み解く際の分析枠組みとして援用するか。
２．ジェンダーはどの様な歴史的文脈から生まれ、それはどの様にグローバル･スタンダードとなっていったか。
３．ジェンダー概念を政治のメインストリーム化することによってどの様に政治が変わったのか、日本、アメリカ、EU 諸国を事例に検討する。
４．ジェンダー概念によって社会の仕組みがどの様に変わりつつあるのか、家族関係、労働状況、ケアの問題を軸に検討する。
５．グローバリゼーションの進展する国際社会をジェンダーの視座から読み解く。
