担当教員 GRAY, Gavan
授業の目的、または到達目標 To understand the factors influencing the security, safety and prosperity of modern nations and how these forces help shape modern international relations.
授業の概要 In recent decades the concept of 'security' in international relations has expanded from a fixation upon solely military-economic factors to include a much broader variety of forces. Through the course the students will look at the full spectrum of factors influencing national and international security, including threats from war, disease, environmental problems, crime, terrorism, overpopulation and others.
