授業の目的、または到達目標 Students will be expected to practice composition, editing, and evaluation of their own and other student’s writing, explore writing styles, from set rhetorical patterns to free writing and research writing, conduct research, and analyze information found from a critical perspective. Students will also be expected to expand on skills covered in Research Methods.
授業の概要 Writing compositions and doing research on various topics using word processing programs, e-mail, web browsers, and other related software.

授業の形態 Lectures, explanations, and hands-on writing practice using multimedia software and hardware.

備考 The computer will be a primary tool used in the composition process, but this is not a class in how to use a computer. Students must have basic skills before enrolling.
