授業の目的、または到達目標 Building on material studied in Phonetics, this class will further develop students' abilities to express themselves effectively.
授業の概要 Students will review basic fundamentals of phonetics, including rhythm. They will then study, practice and present samples from various TV commercials, news broadcasts, speeches, stories, movies and dramas. Each student will make two presentations (one group and one individual). Emphasis will be placed on correct pronunciation following the phonetic rules studied and appropriate interpretation and /or expression for the materials.

準備学習 2種類のプロジェクトのスクリプトIPA表記、サンプル教材のIPA表記、また発表のためのクラス外での発音練習がベースとなる。
教科書 教科書は使用せず、授業中にハンドアウトを配布する。
