授業の目的、または到達目標 To explore issues in conflict prevention and consider its application in a variety of situations.
授業の概要 This course will explore the area of conflict prevention by first considering why conflicts occur and then examining the various ways in which conflict prevention has been used to solve conflictsthat have not yet escalated into violence as well as those where it has. The course should prepare students to actively pursue peace in their future studies and lives.
