準備学習 Preparation for class is required. To understand myths and the role of myths in society, students must do the assigned readings before class and prepare for discussions each week. Readings and homework must be completed before class. Through lectures, discussions, readings, worksheets, story telling, research papers, and presentations, students will come to understand “what is a myth,” “what are the major mythic themes,” and “what is the purpose of myths.”
Group project presentations require work outside of class with partners. Some class time will be devoted to the Research Paper, but the research and writing will be completed outside of class.
