To acquire general knowledge about criminal court interpreting including court procedures, functions of court interpreters, professional ethics and legal terms. To learn basic interpreting skills through training in class |
| 授業の概要 |
We meet twice a week. Sessions are divided into two: court interpreting theory and interpreting practice. Students learn criminal trial procedures, legal terms, professional ethics and other relevant aspects by the text book and other reference materials. Students are required to visit court and submit a report. |
