授業の目的、または到達目標 To raise students’ awareness of an important social issue: the role of the family in the 21st Century.
授業の概要 Students will study the Family in the 21st Century, its changes and the challengers it faces along with shifts in values, lifestyles and other socioeconomic factors. The course aims to develop students’ proficiency in reading and writing.

授業の形態 A reading assignment will be given for homework to enable students to participate actively in group discussions. Students will also conduct research, write a five-page academic paper and make a presentation on their findings.
