授業の目的、または到達目標 |
To familiarize students with prominent companies and develop their knowledge about business, helping them enhance the ability to do corporate research in their future.
|
授業の概要 |
Reading Harvard Business School cases, students are exposed to eminent global companies. These cases are exemplary documents to learn what is going on in the world of business; students thus would be able to understand the gist of what is required of them in job hunting and working in a company as somebody with potential to manage up in the future by reading the case. Students must obtain information for their group presentation, have answers to the questions regarding assigned case studies, listen to lectures, have discussion among themselves, and make presentations of their corporate research results. Another aim is, of course, furthering students' capacity to read extensively in English with specific goals in mind, like obtaining desired information from authentic texts they can find on the Net.
