To experience the difficulty and joy of translation by translating various texts and to be sensitive to language as a translator |
| 授業の概要 |
Students will learn what translation means， what constitutes good translation， and what is necessary for quality translation. They will begin translating from English into Japanese and learn the basic rules of translation. While clarifying the meaning of the text， students will learn cultural differences underlying the text. This class also intends to develop students’ interest in the Japanese language and writing skills. |
