授業の目的、または到達目標 To examine speech acts in a variety of contexts and use this knowledge to improve communication ability
授業の概要 Students will learn about the basic principles of speech communication by preparing and delivering brief speeches; they will be asked to provide peer feedback to their classmates， keep a brief journal of speech topics， and complete brief readings on speaking and communication. Focus will be on organizing and presenting interesting and clear ideas in English.
