授業の目的、または到達目標	Students will speak English and express their ideas about everyday topics. Students will have opportunities to talk about topics that are closely related to their lives.
授業の概要	Students will have opportunities to speak in class on topics that are in everyday life. Students will need to be active in speaking in class and in preparing for the topic of the week. There will be some preparation to talk about the topics. This preparation is key to talking and having a good conversation.


時間割		概要	宿題(予習・復習等)
	1	In this course, different topics will be presented each week and students will talk about these topics. Instructors will choose the topics. Some of the possible topics are: people we know, my family, junior and senior high school life, summer vacation, goals in life, TV programs, TV entertainers, movies, pets, music, fashion, talking about Japan and holidays. In each class, the instructor will give students much chance to speak.
準備学習	There will be some preparation for speaking in class.
教科書	No textbook
成績評価方法・基準	This course is Pass or Fail. Classwork 100% P/FSpeaking (participation) P/FPreparation and notes for speaking in class P/FSpeaking assessment each semester using a rubric NOTE: Students must pass all three sections to pass the course.
