Students who miss class are responsible for finding out what work was done and what homework is due. Giving a presentation: Students must make one group presentation that is based on research and related to the course contents. Writing a summary: Students are required to write a summary of research presentation & references, based on the individual portion of the group presentation. It must include the references the group used for their research presentation. Writing two papers: Students write reflection & response papers. They are more than just a summary, and students are requested to learn how to read, summarize, reflect on the author's ideas; and respond to the ideas in the readings (minimum four pages, for two different essays).
