If a student does not turn in the assigned paper, she cannot pass the course. (The late paper penalty policy: If a student does not turn in the paper by the original deadline, she may turn one in late. The late papers will be penalized at minus 5% for each day it is late, excluding Sundays and holidays. This policy is applied to both the first draft and the final draft.)
