授業の目的、または到達目標 * Be aware of positive and negative influence of international assistance on lives of people in less- developed countries.
* Explain various theories about international cooperation.
* Link theory and practice in international cooperation.
授業の概要 This course examines the experiences of past international development efforts. Exploring several case studies, students identify what factors contribute to the success and failure of development assistance. The course also discusses what sustainable development is.
