授業の目的、または到達目標 To examine the issues concerning children in developing countries.
Learning goals:
* can explain the lives of children in developing countries
* can discuss the issue and develop an understanding of the topic
* can respond to ideas in writings and explore these ideas independently
授業の概要 Many children in developing countries today have reached a crisis point. They are living on the margin of survival under unfavorable life circumstances such as natural disasters, wars, exploitation, and poverty. They are often left homeless, and may be forced to deal with drug abuse, prostitutions, violence and crimes. This course discusses the lives of children in developing countries and the conditions that have left children in the street.
