授業の目的、または到達目標	To learn the theoretical frameworks of cultural comparison. To examine not only the difference between some cultures but also the difference within cultures. 文化を比較する際の理論的枠組みについて学習する。また、文化間のみならず、文化内における差異に気づくことから、文化の捉え方についても考察する。
授業の概要	Critical analysis of the various issues in comparative culture with the other related field which includes Japanology, intercultural understanding, problems of cultural essentialism and the methodology of cultural comparison. 比較文化の様々な領域における事例を批判的に分析する。
