授業の目的、または到達目標 To learn what kind of measures have been taken in order to maintain and strengthen peace and security in the international community, and examine what kind of new measures should be taken.
国際社会における平和と安全保障を維持し強化するために、これまでどのような措置が取られてきたかを明らかにし、今後いかなる措置を取るべきかを考える。
授業の概要 They learn at first the concept of international peace and security, then peaceful settlement of international disputes, outlawry of war and exception to the prohibition of the use of force, peace-keeping operations, peace-restoring operations by multilateral coalition forces, peace-building operations after conflicts, disarmament and non-proliferation, as well as new concepts such as human security and global security.
