授業の目的、または到達目標 国際社会における平和と安全保障を維持し強化するために、これまでどのような措置が取られてきたかを明らかにし、今後いかなる措置を取るべきかを考える。
To learn what kind of measures have been taken in order to maintain and strengthen peace and security in the international community, and examine what kind of new measures should be taken.
授業の概要 まず国際の平和と安全保障とは何かを明らかにし、国際紛争の平和的解決、戦争の違法化と武力行使禁止の例外、平和維持活動、多国籍軍による平和回復活動、紛争後の平和構築活動、軍縮と不拡散を考え、さらに人間の安全保障や地球的安全保障という新たな概念を学ぶ
They learn at first the concept of international peace and security, then peaceful
settlement of international disputes, outlawry of war and exception to the prohibition of
the use of force, peace-keeping operations, peace-restoring operations by multilateral coalition forces, peace-building operations after conflicts, disarmament and non-proliferation, as well as new concepts such as human security and global security.
