授業の目的、または到達目標 To assist students in the design, implementation and writing of the graduation thesis.
授業の概要 In addition to deepening students' knowledge on individual topics chosen according to their major area of study, students will learn methods of organizing research, conducting analyses, and doing presentations on the basis of surveys and observations. At the end of the course, students will prepare a graduation thesis under the guidance of their advisors.

成績評価方法・基準 Class work (attendance, class participation, assignments and leading discussion)-------- 40%
IMPORTANT: It will be difficult to pass this course if you miss many classes and do not learn about how to write a graduation thesis. Course work is 40%, which is very high and the thesis grade includes drafts and outlines. While the OJC attendance policy does not apply to GP, it is important to attend classes to learn about writing a thesis and doing the research.
