準備学習 Class Work: Students will be asked to read about 20 pages per week. They will take a quiz to assess their understanding the assigned reading s in every class. This will be collected and graded. Students who miss class are responsible for finding out what work was done and what homework is due.
Research Paper: To successfully complete the course， all students must submit a 5-page research paper. The research paper is completed in three stages: the introduction/outline and references， the rough draft， and the final draft. If students do not turn in the paper， they cannot pass the course.
