授業の目的、または到達目標 To provide students with the skills in giving PowerPoint presentations and oral presentations at academic conferences to international audiences and to help students learn how to respond to questions on the presentations.
授業の概要 This course will cover ways of organizing data in order to present it at conferences. It will also elaborate on how to make clear, easy to understand PowerPoint slides, and how to use visuals in a presentation. This course will also present on how to give presentations drawing on concepts in verbal and nonverbal communication and cultural sensitivity. Students will have numerous opportunities to give presentations in this course.
