You will be able to explain and dicuss ideas and practices of civil societies at local, national, transnational and/or global levels with a view to building a peaceful and fair international society which is capable of meeting challenges of the twenty-first century グローバル市民社会の理念と実践について考察し、平和で公正な21 世紀を展望する。 |

This course involves reading and discussing classical ideas of civil societies by Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, and Kant and modern ideas of social contracts with some pertinent modern illustrations. プラトン、アリストテレス、キケロ、カントによる古典的な市民社会論と近代社会契約説について、関連する現代の実例を交えながら、読み、議論する。 |
