授業の目的、または到達目標 To allow students to study ways of teaching young learners , in the context of a content-based English course with reading, writing and presentation components.
Learning goals
- can understand how languages are learned.
- can practice classroom English.
- can analyze teachers' speech.
- can understand how to teach four major skills-listening. speaking, reading and writing.

授業の概要 Recently we often hear about the collapse of school. Students do not listen to the teachers, concentrate on their work, nor sit still during the class. We are now at a crisis point. Therefore in this course, we study and discuss effective activities and classroom language to attract children.

準備学習 Students will be asked to read about 1 chapter per week, complete worksheet and prepare some activities for the next class. They will take 2 quizzes to assess their understanding of the assigned readings. Also they will be required to plan a story-telling for children as presentation.
