To allow students to study ways of teaching young learners , in the context of a content-based English course with reading, writing and presentation components. Learning goals - can understand how languages are learned. - can practice classroom English. - can analyze teachers' speech. - can understand how to teach four major skills-listening. speaking, reading and writing. |
授業の概要 |
Recently we often hear about the collapse of school. Students do not listen to the teachers, concentrate on their work, nor sit still during the class. We are now at a crisis point. Therefore in this course, we study and discuss effective activities and classroom language to attract children. |

準備学習 |
Students will be asked to read about 1 chapter per week, complete worksheet and prepare some activities for the next class. They will take 2 quizzes to assess their understanding of the assigned readings. Also they will be required to plan a story-telling for children as presentation. |
