授業の目的、または到達目標 To understand the interrelationships of business functional areas and the role of business in society.
Learning Goals:

*can use techniques studied to improve communication
授業の概要 The aims of this course will be to prepare students for English in the business world by activating and further developing the language they have studied in the past. It will provide a wide variety of communicative tasks and adequate opportunities to practice skills in business situations, such as dealing with people, working in project groups and participating in meetings. In addition, the course will develop students’ cultural awareness in business situations.

準備学習 Students are expected to study two (2) hours each week for class. Students should prepare for all assignments and readings before the next class.
教科書 Course materials and readings will be provided by the instructor.
参考文献 Students should prepare the following: a folder (A4 size) for worksheets, handouts and homework assignments; a notebook; a dictionary; iPad; writing instruments (pencils, pens, eraser); and a USB/flash drive.
成績評価方法・基準 Quizzes: 20%; Mid-term exam: 25%; Final exam: 30%; Reflective papers: 25%. Feedback for reflective papers, examinations, and quizzes will be written comments.
