授業の目的、または到達目標 To introduce to the science of happiness and modern psychology as well as explore essential life skills to help students lead more fulfilling lives. Students will discuss research in this area, reflect on their experiences, and learn to apply these tools into their lives.
* can demonstrate an understanding of psychology, the mind and its distortions, and useful techniques and skills to enhance happiness
* can use these tools and techniques learnt to reflect on their experiences
* can apply this knowledge of psychology and the science of happiness to their lives
授業の概要 This course will cover modern psychology and the science of happiness and explore effective techniques to help students understand and train their minds towards living more fulfilling lives. They will also learn to recognize common obstacles to happiness and success and how to overcome them. Useful skills to increase quality of life and have a more fulfilling life & career will be introduced, including those for self-discovery, career preparation, health, and personal relationships.
