科目名 Basic English 2

授業の目的、または到達目標 Goals: Students can use pre-intermediate level English grammar. Students can produce grammatically acceptable sentences orally. Students can aurally comprehend short, simple sentences. Students can read pre-intermediate level (1500-2500 word level) reading materials. Students can translate short Japanese passages into English using grammar/vocabulary knowledge acquired in the course.
授業の概要 Students will engage in various activities designed to develop pre-intermediate level English skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Special emphasis will be placed on acquiring basic vocabulary and grammar knowledge.
授業の形態 Lectures, quizzes, oral presentations, activities based on communicative approach.
