授業の目的、または到達目標 To understand how culture shapes how people in different countries make decisions. This course will examine different nations and how history, religion and culture may shape how people make decisions and interact with others.
Learning Objectives
Can understand how cultural beliefs and values shapes our behaviors
Can explain the concept of the cultural iceberg and how it relates to other cultures
Can give a presentation on aspects of culture in a country
Can write a reflective paper linking the cultural ideas learned in class to their world
Can understand ourselves better as individuals and group members
授業の概要 After reviewing culture and communication, we will examine cultures in different nations and consider how they make decisions, and how they interact.

準備学習 Students will need to prepare their country presentations, read about the cultures of the countries, and review for numerous quizzes.

Writings・・・20%
Student will receive written and/or oral feedback on ALL assignments in a timely manner. This feedback will give students a chance to improve their writing, speaking and presentation skills.
