授業の目的、または到達目標 To set a foundation of academic knowledge then apply that knowledge to the community.
Learning Goals:
* can understand the fundamental concepts of human needs
* can work in a team to address a community need
* can apply basic understanding of community service and human needs through classroom activities and practical projects.
*can keep records to document and reflect on the work done during the course.
授業の概要 In this course, students will examine the what, why and how of community service then form a team and carry out their required hours of serving the community. The course will introduce the fundamental concepts of human needs, team work, and community service. Students will play an active role in volunteering and taking part in community work inside and outside the college. They will then identify and complete a project based on a college and/or community need.
