授業の目的、または到達目標 To explore the globalization of popular culture and its effects. Students will examine global popular culture, its modern icons (jeans, Coca Cola), and its cultural forms (music, anime) by investigating the links between consumer culture, mass media, technology, and the cultural, political, and commercial dimensions of globalization.
