授業の目的、または到達目標	Students can make appropriate pragmatic responses in different contexts; can interact effectively with others and accomplish both formal and informal purposes; and can effectively utilize nonverbal behavior in connection with their speech
授業の概要	This course will concentrate on speaking, i.e., expressing oneself in a variety of situations. In order to create non-classroom experiences, videos, role plays, and problem solving will be used frequently. Students will learn drama techniques and work on comprehensibility.


授業の形態	Students are expected to participate actively in class. They must prepare for classes by writing scripts, doing short readings, and completing class handouts. There will be speaking checks and role plays in place of written quizzes.
