授業の目的、または到達目標 Students will understand how culture shapes the way people act and think; can make useful cultural comparisons; and can examine and articulate the differences in people's value systems
授業の概要 This course will be based on readings, short talks, videos, and class activities. True understanding comes not only through academic study, but also by firsthand experience. Thus, there will be a strong focus on experiential learning.
授業の形態 Students will be expected to do the readings and homework before each class. They will participate in discussions and many intercultural activities. There will also be quizzes and individual and group presentations.
