授業の目的、または到達目標 To learn about human rights around the world. Focus will be on human rights issues that impact women.
The students can:
-read basic information about human rights
-understand the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
-search the internet for relevant information
-write outline notes of readings
-write reflection papers on their reading
授業の概要 This course will explore issues in human rights around the world, particularly the human rights of women. Human rights violations and other aspects of human rights will be considered. The related historical, economic, and social areas will be studied.

準備学習 At the beginning of the course, the readings and materials will be provided, and students will work on vocabulary and note taking. Students will search for information related to different issues, and they will make short oral reports and write reflections based on their reading.
教科書 Materials will be provided. Students will bring their own sources from the Internet and the library.

成績評価方法・基準 Evaluation is based on course work, participation, and reflection papers:
