授業の目的、または到達目標 To learn about human rights around the world. Focus will be on human rights issues that are not well known, and therefore need to be examined closely.
授業の概要 This course will explore issues in human rights around the world, particularly the human rights of women and . Human rights violations and other aspects of human rights will be considered. International organizations working to focus attention human rights, particularly on less well known human rights issues, will be examined.

準備学習 This course will depend on readings, vocabulary study and the basic work of research: information gathering, outlining, paraphrasing and writing. Students will work on issues which are not well known, and therefore, their main goal will be to present this information orally and in writing to other members of the class.
