| 授業の目的、または到達目標 |
・Students will be able to deepen their understanding of English sound system.
・Based on theoretical understanding and basic skills from Phonetics 1 and 2, students will be able to carry out practical oral performances, such as conversation from TV dramas and movies, news broadcasts, speeches, and stories.
・Based on class works and projects in this class, students will be able to express themselves more effectively in English.

| 授業の概要 |
Students will review basic fundamentals of phonetics, including rhythm. They will then study, practice and present samples from various TV commercials, news broadcasts, speeches, stories, movies and dramas. Each student will make two presentations ( one group and one individual). Emphasis will be placed on correct pronunciation following the phonetic rules studied and appropriate interpretation and/or expression for the materials.

| 準備学習 |
一年次で履修したPhoneticsの基礎理論を土台として、様々な教材を独力で英語音声表現できるようにする。そのためには、Phoneticsの理論を毎回復習、準備してくること。 またモデル音声を録音したオーディオテープを使い、演習室でドリル練習を続けること。
