Course objectives are that students: can better understand international news reports; can improve English listening comprehension; can increase vocabulary related to news reports; can express opinions and discuss about news topics; and can find additional information about news topics. |
| 授業の概要 |
The course is based on authentic news reports of approximately two minutes. Worksheets help the students understand the current report. |
| 授業の形態 |
Students watch two minutes of a current report. They are provided with exercises for vocabulary, listening comprehesion, transcription, and reading. Students are expected to discuss the issues raised by the current news report. |
