* Learning Goals:
Students:
- can listen to lectures and use note taking and other listening skills to catch the important information they hear
- can better understand the formal or academic English that they hear
- can better understand key grammatical and functional patterns in listening
- can better understand the structure of presentations
授業の概要 This course aims to help students:
・ increase listening skills in the academic field.
・ talk about issues in English.
・ learn skills for listening to English.

成績評価方法・基準 Class work: homework, quizzes, note-taking, etc. ……………………60%
Review quizzes: 4 times. Fifth Review Quiz is optional. (Give review quizzes every 3~4 lessons/units); teacher chooses the three best scores….40%
